Memory

Personal — your inbox, your meetings, your preferences.

Personal and company-wide — every employee, contact, project, and priority enriched from team activity, along with a memory layer of your own context.

To-do management

Listed to-dos in order of priority. Low priority tasks are sometimes left out.

Configurable list with priority tagging and direct references to the source of the to-do.

Team support

Personal tool by default; team capability exists but isn't a primary surface.

One shared operating brain across the executive team.

Built for the individual vs. built for the team

Lindy AI's approach: Asked directly how Lindy handles team use, Lindy's own chatbot answers cleanly:

"Lindy is primarily built around you as the individual…each person gets their own Lindy"

But the focal point of the product is in the individual seat. There is no shared assistant that the leadership team operates through. Your CoS has their Lindy. Your COO has theirs. Your CFO has theirs. Each one sees its own user's inbox, meetings, and preferences. None of them share an operating context.

BOND's approach: BOND is built around the leadership team as a whole. The CEO, the Chief of Staff, the COO, and the rest of the executive team operate through a shared context — meetings, decisions, who's waiting on whom, what's open across the company. The Daily Brief is curated with multiple team members in mind, so that to-dos and profiles are built from activity across the team's connected tools rather than from each individual's slice of it.

Daily Brief

Lindy's approach: When Lindy returns a morning brief or pulls together action items from the user's inbox and meetings, the output is a list of tasks and inbox highlights that must be customized for an improved experience. There isn't any strong prioritization sorting that carefully separates a critical investor follow-up from a routine inbox cleanup. Everything sits in one slightly-ordered stream, and the executive has to do the triage work themselves or organize the brief on their own time.

BOND's approach: BOND treats prioritization as a first-class product surface. Every to-do carries a priority tag (Critical, High, etc.) and is tied back to its source—the email, the Slack message, the meeting it came from—so the executive can see not just what to do, but why it matters and where it came from. The list itself is configurable: List, Board, Eisenhower matrix, or GTD view, sortable by importance and groupable by source or owner. The executive doesn't have to re-sort the assistant's output to figure out where to start. BOND has already done the triage.

Bottom line

Lindy is a strong AI work assistant for individuals. Each professional on a team can have their own Lindy, scoped to their own inbox, calendar, and preferences. For an individual whose work is dispatching tasks from their own desk, that's a real product. BOND is built around a different unit of value: the leadership team. The Daily Brief, the People graph, the priority-tagged to-do surface — all of it operates through a shared context across the CEO, Chief of Staff, COO, and the rest of the exec team.

The question isn't whether Lindy works. It does, for its audience. The question is whether your team is one user delegating tasks, or a leadership group running a company — and whether you want an assistant per person, or a Chief of Staff for the team.

FAQ

Q: Can Lindy do what BOND does?

A: At this time, no. Along with sending a daily brief in the morning, BOND can also categorize tasks by priority and reference sources to maximize reliability. More importantly, BOND maintains a shared operating brain across the leadership team—the people, projects, decisions, and threads moving through the company at any given time—so the Brief reflects the state of the business, not just the state of one person's inbox. Lindy is built around the individual seat. BOND is built around the company.

Q: Is Lindy a Chief of Staff or a personal assistant?

A: Lindy's own assistant frames it as a Chief of Staff—"I'm your personal Chief of Staff." Personal is the operative word. Lindy is a personal AI work assistant for one user—drafting replies, scheduling meetings, taking notes, running custom workflows. However, Chiefs of Staff rarely work for just one person in isolation. They hold context across the leadership team, surface what's slipping before the executive thinks to ask, prioritize the day so the executive doesn't have to triage their own inbox, and operate through the same surface the rest of the executive team is in. Lindy is shaped around the personal assistant pattern. BOND is shaped around the Chief of Staff pattern.

Q: Can BOND be used by Chiefs of Staff?

A: Yes—and the CoS use case is one of BOND's strongest. A Chief of Staff's job is to hold context across the leadership team, prepare the principal, surface what's slipping, and keep decisions moving. That requires a shared "brain" with the CEO and the rest of the exec team. For Chiefs of Staff who are actively building AI into their workflow, BOND is the operating layer you'd build for yourself if you had the engineering team to do it. And because BOND is built around the leadership team rather than the individual seat, the CoS isn't running their own private AI assistant in parallel to the CEO's—they're working from the same shared context layer, with the same information, on the same surface.
